Completing a Local Migration in Transferito Desktop

Migrations are incoming migrations that have been created from the official Transferito WordPress plugin. Creating a Local Migration is a premium feature.

Getting Started:

Visit the site you want to migrate to your local development environment, making sure that the Transferito plugin installed.

• Go to the Start Migration Link
• Enter a URL
• Check the Local Migration check box

Starting the Migration:

The backup process will start; Once the backup procedure has completed. Your backup will appear on the migrations screen.

• To access your migration,
• Open Transferito desktop
• Click on the Migrations navigations menu item

Resuming the Migration in Transferito Desktop:

The backup created from the plugin will be displayed on this screen. The following pieces of information will let you identify the correct backup.

You will see the following:

• The Destination Site URL
• The URL of the site that it was migrated from
• The date and time the backup was created

Selecting the Destination Site:

Select the correct destination site and then click on the Start Migration button.
