Disabling WordPress Object Cache

WordPress has an amazing built in object cache plug in, that is used speed up and enhance the performance of your site.

Why do we need this setting?

Although this is fantastic this can cause issues when migrating your WordPress site. Some hosting providers / servers that use one click WordPress installs can bundle WordPress object cache into the install.

In some cases we may need to temporarily disable WordPress Object Cache to complete your migration successfully.

By selecting this option.

Click the “Update Settings” button at the bottom of the page, to save your changes. So we can temporarily disable WordPress Object Cache on your destination site server.

NOTE: Doing this does not affect WordPress Object Cache on your active site; by checking this setting the changes are only applied to your destination server.
