Using the Default Database Configuration
All MySQL databases have something called collation, this can differ between different servers and hosting providers.
Why would I need this setting?
The difference between database configurations can cause character differences, unwanted transformations or incorrect character encoding. These database differences can cause WordPress migration failures when importing your database to your new Destination Site’s server.
By selecting this option:
Click the “Update Settings” button at the bottom of the page, to save your changes. This will force the migration to use the same database configuration as your Active Site server.
