The step by step guide below will give you a detailed breakdown of how to find the correct cPanel details on Bluehost and use them within Transferito, in order to successfully start your WordPress migration.

Login to your Bluehost Web Hosting Account

Step 1: Login to your Bluehost account

Navigate to the Bluehost login screen and login in with your account.

Finding your cPanel username on Bluehost

Step 2: Click on hosting tab

Click on the hosting tab located on the column on the left.

Step 3: Click on the cPanel button

Navigate to the ‘Quick Links’ section of the page and click on the cPanel button.

Step 4: Copy your cPanel username

You will see your username under the general information column, copy and paste your username on to notepad or write it down.

How to Create Your cPanel API Token on Bluehost

Step 5: Click ‘Manage API Tokens’

On the same page, type on the search bar ‘API Token’ and click ‘Manage API Tokens’ on the drop down list that appears.

Step 6: Click the ‘Create’ button

Once the page loads, click the ‘Create’ button.

Step 7: Create your API token

Create a name for your API token and click the create button.

Step 8: Copy your API token

Your API token will now have been created, click the copy button under the token, and past it on notepad or write it down. Once copied, click the ‘Yes, I Saved My Token’ button.

Step 9: Entering your details in the Transferito plugin

Go back to the Transferito plugin and use the details that you have pasted on notepad to fill in the fields on the login details section of the cPanel migration method. Click continue and you are good to go!
