Using cPanel as your Migration Method

Check to see if the destination site URL, will allow you to use cPanel as your migration method.

Your cPanel details consist of the following:

• cPanel Username
• cPanel API Token

Getting your cPanel Username:

To get your cPanel username, go to dashboard. On the right hand side of the dashboard a section called General Information. Make a note of your cPanel username, so we can use it at a later date.

Getting your cPanel API Token

To get your API token, enter API Token in the search bar at the top of the page. Then click on Manage API Tokens

Once you are in the Manage API Tokens page, click on the create button.

This will take you to the “Create API Token” page.

Enter a name for your API Token and then click on the create button. Copy your API Token, then click on the “Yes I saved my token” button

Enter your cPanel details:

You now have your cPanel Username and API token, go back into Transferito and add your cPanel Username along with your API Token, then click continue.

Select Your cPanel Domain:

Once your cPanel details have been authenticated, you will be redirected to the cPanel domain selection screen. You can now choose your cPanel domain and then click continue.

Start your Migration:

Now you can watch your migration complete.
