The Forté-AP is a compact, commercial grade grinder, dedicated to grinding for ALL brew methods. The Forté-AP incorporates many features that fit well into commercial operations, including: all metal construction; small footprint; intuitive control panel; and solid macro/micro adjustment. The Forté-AP offers the ability to grind by time, for espresso dosing, or by weight. Coffee professionals find the Forté–AP to be a versatile grinder for many situations – as a small restaurant and office espresso/brew grinder, as a Roaster demo grinder for wholesale tasting, or being a dedicated grinder for decaf or single origin in a café. The Forté-AP is a durable workhorse using a 54mm flat ceramic burr, which produces an accurate and precise grind, delivering exceptional cup quality for brew methods from espresso to press pot. We re-designed the guts of the Vario-W for commercial use. The Forté-AP design includes a grinding assembly with a threaded burr holder which screws firmly into an all metal grinding chamber for a more accurate grind. A larger gear to belt ratio, combined with a more efficient DC motor increases the speed of grind and duty cycle. |

- Small on size, Big on Performance: The Forte has the performance of a large grinder without the need for all the counter space. Measuring only 5" wide and 7" deep, the Forte will fit on almost any counter. At only 14.5" tall, it also fits under all overhead cupboards. All function are controlled from the front, so walls or equipment directly beside it is not a problem.
- Any way you like it: The broad range of grind and the narrow particle distribution (bi-modal in espresso setting) are hallmarks of the professionalism of the Forte.
- Fine tuning with ease: Macro and Micro adjustments are instantly and repeatedly achievable with the intuitive adjustment system. The Forte has 230 distinct settings of grind to satisfy even the most demanding coffee connoisseur.
- One touch is all it takes: Beautiful glass touch screen display allowed for easy, repeatable grinds.
- Faster than a speeding...: The Forte grinds 2.0 grams/second at Espresso and 3.5 grams/second at Press. The speed of grind is truly professional.
- Harder than steel: Manufactured in Germany by Mahlkonig, the Forte's 54 mm professional ceramic burrs produce accurate grinding, high throughput and remain sharp for up to twice the lifetime of the highest quality steel burrs.
- A cool drive system: The forte employs a high torque DC motor and an ultra-quiet belt-drive transmission. The German timing belt provides important thermal isolation of motor and burrs, ensuring cooler coffee.
